Brian T. Wells, DMD
Dr. Brian T. Wells is a board-eligible endodontist with the American Board of Endodontics and is on track to become a board-certified diplomate. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Hillsborough County Dental Association, and the West Pasco Dental Association.
Dr. Wells brings a unique combination of academic excellence, life experience, and compassion to his work as an endodontist. After retiring from competitive figure skating, he moved to Manhattan and graduated cum laude from the City University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Harvard University, followed by advanced clinical training at Tufts University in Boston, where he completed his Endodontic Certificate.
Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Wells competed as a world-class pairs figure skater, representing the United States at the highest levels of international competition. His experiences training and competing around the world helped shape the discipline, focus, and dedication he brings to patient care today.
As one of nine children in an Army family, Dr. Wells grew up moving frequently and experienced life in many places around the world, including the Middle East, Maryland, Delaware, Colorado, New York, and Massachusetts. Ultimately, he chose to establish Wells Endodontics in the Tampa area, where he has been providing specialized endodontic care since 2007.
Dr. Wells and his wife Maggie live in Lutz. The oldest of their four children, Olivia, attends Barnard College in New York City. Ian, Eva and Owen are still at home and all attend The Academy of the Lakes in Land O’ Lakes. Life is good … especially whenever Dr. Wells can spend some treasured time with his family at their condo on Indian Rocks Beach!
